2020 is finally coming to a close. After a dumpster fire of a year, we bid farewell to a tumultuous, unnerving, anxiety-inducing, heart-wrenching year. With the close of every year, I try to reflect on life, which includes examining my reading year. I read 112 books in 2020. That is, objectively, a lot of books. A lot of pages. I lot of words.
I wanted to share my favorite books that I read this year because while I read a ton, this list is the list that will stay with me for a long time. In no particular order:

All of the above will be with me for different reasons, but if there is a set of books that I will be recommending year after year going forward, this is the set. I am so thankful for each of these stories, particularly the memoirs, which required women to confront their trauma and share it with the world in order to cultivate change and bring attention to sexual assault.
Honorable Mentions:
She Said by Jodi Kantor and Meghan Twohey
Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuinston
